Wednesday Fantasy News 9/16/09

TheKnicksBlog.com with the current status of Nate Robinson and David Lee.  It is looking like Robinson and Lee are going to be very unhappy fantasy players this season.  I’m pushing them down my draft rankings until I see them actually sign on the line, especially since Lee could easily end up on another team.

BleacherReport.com examines the new coaching staff in Toronto

Cleveland.com reports that Phoenix has bought out the contract of Sasha Pavlovic.  Also, CanisHoopus.com reports that Pavlovic has already caught on with Minnesota with a 1 year, $1.5 million contract.

Dime Magazine with their Top 5 picks for 2009-2010 Rookie of the Year.

ESPN.com reports that Richard Jefferson dislocated his right thumb and may miss part of training camp.  Jefferson’s fantasy value is still good and I don’t think this is a serious injury.  I’ll definitely put it on my injury update list as the season approaches.

DailyThunder.com takes a look at Jeff Green and projects what he might produce for fantasy owners this year.

The Oregonian with an article on Nicolas Batum and his improved performance this summer.  I’ve got Batum as one of those guys who might just be a steal in later rounds.  Definitely keep an eye on his minutes as camp gets going.
