Fantasy Basketball Daily News and Notes (11/5/10)

Danilo Gallinari (NYK) – He finally had a good shooting game going 7 of 11 overall, with 4 of 4 from three.  Keep starting him.

Ronny Turiaf (NYK) – Turiaf should take over most of the minutes at Center for the Knicks.  Mozgov just doesn’t look to be tough enough to handle the position right now.

Toney Douglas (NYK) – A 30 point game with 4 steals.  Landry Fields better pick it up or Douglas will take over most of the shooting guard minutes.

Derrick Rose (CHI) – His assist totals are a pleasant surprise this season.  He had 14 more on Thursday.  For some odd reason, Rose sat out the final 9+ minutes of the game.  No word of an injury and there probably wasn’t one because Joakim Noah was sitting right there with Rose for the entire fourth quarter.

Russell Westbrook (OKC) – Easily a Top 5 fantasy PG this season.  28 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists on Thursday.

Anthony Randolph (NYK) – Finally got on the court, but only about 3 minutes.  Keep him benched, but don’t cut him to the wire just yet.  The Knicks really need help at center and Randolph will eventually get his chance.

Fabricio Oberto (POR) – Retired from basketball due to a heart condition.

Stephen Curry (GSW) – Gametime decision for Friday.

Zach Randolph (MEM) – Gametime decision for Friday.

Andrew Bynum (LAL) – Could return to practice next week and hopefully be ready to go sometime around Thanksgiving.  Enjoy Lamar Odom while you still can.
