Daily Cash Games – I finally got back on the right track last night going 6-2 on Fanduel.com (all H2H matches) and 2-4 (3 H2H/3 Tourneys) on FantasySportsLive.com. The FSL record looks a little bad, but three of those games were 10 player tournaments and the other three were heads up matches. One of the wins on FSL was a 10 player tourney win, which pays 5 to 1 on your entry fee if you win it, 3 to 1 for second and 2 to 1 for third. If you are playing multiplayer tourneys, it is possible to have a losing record, but still win a nice amount of money. In the future, I’ll break the results down into H2H matches and Multiplayer Tournament matches.
Greg Oden (POR) – And the bad luck continues for Portland, Oden will undergo microfracture surgery and he’s done for the year. You have to feel sorry for the guy, the team and the fans.
C.J. Miles (UTA) – He suffered a back strain Wednesday. Terrible timing as he was just getting into a groove as Utah’s 6th man. Hopefully, it’s just a minor thing and he won’t miss any time.
Rip Hamilton (DET) – Got ejected with two technicals only five minutes into the game against the Lakers. Neither Hamilton nor Prince really want to be in Detroit right now and I’d look for a trade soon. It’s probably best to bench them both.
Delonte West (BOS) – Returned Wednesday after serving his 10 game suspension. West could get decent minutes as the Celtics will look for every opportunity to rest some guys. Check your wire to see if West is still out there.
Steve Nash (PHO) – There were some rumors before the game that Nash would be out with a groin injury. He played but didn’t look all that great, going for 17 points and only 2 assists. Check his next gametime status.
Chris Bosh (MIA) – Finally had a good game, but it was against a Phoenix team who has absolutely nothing on the interior, so take this one with a grain of salt and see if Bosh can string together a few good games. If anyone comes to you with a reasonable trade offer after this performance, you might want to think about making a solid counteroffer and quietly cutting your losses on Bosh if the right offer presents itself.
Sonny Weems (TOR) – He’s trying to steal Kleiza’s job, 25pts/4reb.
Evan Turner (PHI) – 12 more rebounds Wednesday from the SG spot.
Jrue Holiday (PHI) – Creeping closer and close to that triple double, 17pts/6reb/7ast. He’ll get a few this season and he was a great draft pick in keeper leagues this season.
Boston Celtics – Another blowout, with no player on the team getting more than 30 minutes.
Lamar Odom (LAL) – He’s been dealing with some foot problems, but it didn’t seem to be slowing him down last night, 15pt/14ast. Keep starting him.
Caron Butler (DAL) – Returned from a sore back, but didn’t do much, 5pt/0reb/2ast. Might be a good idea to keep him benched for a few until he gets back into the flow of the game.
New Orleans Hornets – Another very balanced boxscore with everyone contributing average stats. The Hornets have stumbled upon a nice roster combination and could continue to win as long as nobody gets hurt.
Blake Griffin (LAC) – Nice bounceback game from Blake, 26pt/17reb.
Al-Farouq Aminu (LAC) – Another start for Aminu and it really seems like he’s beginning to figure out the NBA game. Definitely worth an add in keeper leagues.
Michael Beasley (MIN) – What more can be said about Beasley? 33pt/7reb. If he can just keep his head straight.
Luke Ridnour (MIN) – Returned from a hamstring problem on Wednesday and got right back to work, 12pt/8ast/3stl. The PG spot for Minnesota will get a little crowded with the return of Jonny Flynn.
Jordan Hill (HOU) – I got a chance to watch some of the Houston game Wednesday and Hill could be a good flier in keeper leagues. There’s no guarantee Ming will be back next season and Brad Miller probably isn’t the answer either, so Hill could get an opportunity at the center spot.
Jeff Green (OKC) – Missed another one with his ankle injury which gave Serge Ibaka another start. Ibaka had a good game going until he got in foul trouble, then the game turned into a bit of a rout and he never got back in.
Kris Humphries (NJN) – Great short term pickup if you need some boards.
Andrei Kirilenko (UTA) – The Kirilenko of old showed up last night, 15pt/4reb/2stl/4blk. It sure would be nice if he could turn back into the fantasy stud that he was a few years ago.
Tim Duncan (SAS) – Great line, 16pt/18reb/5ast/1stl/2blk.
Tiago Splitter (SAS) – DNP-CD Wednesday and it’s pretty clear he isn’t the answer at center. Matt Bonner did get some decent minutes though and you might want to keep an eye on him.
Danilo Gallinari (NYK) – He’s got things rolling now after a slow start. Might be a good idea to put in a trade offer for him if there is an owner who still doubts Gallinari.
DeMarcus Cousins (SAC) – Cousins needs to be starting and the Kings need to find a trade partner for Sam Dalembert. Cousins 30 minutes Wedensday, Dalembert 13.
Beno Udrih (SAC) – Udrih got benched in favor of Luther Head because the team said they wanted more defense. They gave up 113 to the Knicks. Nice. Head’s a shooting guard which means that Tyreke was moved into more of a PG type role, which he has shown in the past that he’s really not suited for. Jason Thompson even got a start. This entire gameplan was a gigantic FAIL.
