Fantasy Basketball Daily News and Notes (11/23/10)

Daily Cash Games – I put up my worst score of the year last night with a 243.  Luckily, some of my opponents did too, so I went 3-4-1 on Fanduel.com.   Sometimes breakeven nights are good, and Monday was one of  those times!  6 games on the Tuesday schedule, so have your daily cash game rosters in by 7:00 pm EST.

FantasyBasketballDaily.com News and Notes:

Boston Celtics/Atlanta Hawks – Another blowout and more rest for the fantasy starters.  Paul Pierce was the high regular with 27 minutes, with Nate Robinson leading the team with 30 minutes.  The Hawks waived the white flag early too, with Al Horford leading the team going 27 minutes.

Jordan Crawford (ATL) – Crawford got some garbage time run and looked pretty good, although his shooting was off going 3 for 14.  His final line:  10pts/7reb/4ast/1stl/0tov.

Brandon Rush/Mike Dunleavy (IND) – It looks like this timeshare is going to be dictated by matchups.  Rush got 38 minutes Monday, Dunleavy 17.  Rush is the better defensive player and Indiana needed him on Dwyane Wade.

Darren Collison/T.J. Ford (IND) – Collison moved back into his starting spot after missing a few with an ankle problem.  This is probably still a timeshare and should be avoided for now.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas (MIA) – It’s his spot now that Udonis Haslem is out.  12pt/8reb/4blk,  he should be picked up.  Joel Anthony got a DNP-CD.

Michael Beasley (MIN) – I rode the Beasley bandwagon one game too long, he just killed me last night in my daily cash games.  He’s still getting 20 shot attempts a game and should bounce back next time out.

Darko Milicic (MIN) – Not sure what has happened here, but Darko put up another 21 points last night.  Check your wire, but be prepared for some disappointment if you pick him up.

Luke Ridnour (MIN) – Ridnour should take back the starting PG job soon.  He got 32 minutes off the bench while Telfair got the start but only 16 minutes.

Serge Ibaka (OKC) – Jeff Green and Kevin Durant both returned and Ibaka’s run is probably over for now.  He’s back to being a bench player.  Same for James Harden.

Steve Nash (PHO) – Nash returned from his groin problem and looked healthy, 24pt/9ast in 37 minutes.  Get him back in your lineup.

Jordan Hill (HOU) – Grab this guy if you are in a keeper league.

Matt Bonner (SAS) – Might be worth a look if you are desperate for a center. 37 minutes Monday, 15pts/7reb.   4 of 4 from three.

Tony Parker (SAS) – Still hot, 24pts/10ast.  Ride the streak.

DeMarcus Cousins (SAC) – Great game, 18pts/9reb.  The Kings are willing to start Luther Head, but not Cousins.

C.J. Miles (UTA) – He’s probably gone from the wire now, but check one more time.  20pt/4reb/4ast/1stl/2blk/0tov.

Ty Lawson (DEN) – Lawson got the start for the injured Chauncey Billups and looked just as good as Billups running the show.  If Melo gets traded, Billups is probably gone as well.  Take a flier on Lawson if you are in a keeper league.

David West (NOR) – Big game, 30pt/10reb/5ast.

Jarrett Jack (NOR) – He’s going to get action backing up both guard spots.  It’s safe to drop Marcus Thornton now, unless you are in a keeper league and want to gamble that he’s the next player to get shipped out of New Orleans.

Blake Griffin (LAC) – New Orleans is one of the better defenses of this early season and Griffin had no trouble playing his game against them.  He’s going to make this an interesting rookie of the year race.
