Fantasy Basketball Daily News and Notes (11/24/10)

Daily Cash Games – I had a good night on Fanduel.com going 7-2 with 333 points scored.  Big 11 game schedule tonight in the NBA and the action should be pretty good at Fanduel.com.   Have your cash game rosters set by 7:00 pm EST.

FantasyBasketballDaily.com News and Notes:

Joey Graham (CLE) – Graham got the start last night for Cleveland, pushing Jamario Moon to the bench.  He’s nothing spectacular, but if you need help at SF, he’s getting starter’s minutes.

Mo Williams (CLE) – He’s still trying to get it going.  Not sure if he’s still hurting, out of shape or just doesn’t care.  Bench him for now.

J.J. Hickson/Antawn Jamison (CLE) – Hickson 23 minutes, Jamison 25 minutes.  Avoid.

Roy Hibbert (IND) – The big guy got off to a blazing start, but it looks like he’s starting to wear down a bit and his foul problem has reappeared.  It’s probably just a temporary thing, but keep an eye on him.

Darren Collison (IND) – 34 minutes of run Tuesday and had a good line, 18pt/6reb/7ast.   T.J. Ford only got 14 minutes.

Joe Johnson (ATL) – Really struggling with his shot right now, going 21 of 66 in his last 5 games.   He’s got a sore left hand that could really be bothering him.  He’s probably not worth the high salary price in daily cash games.

Kris Humphries (NJN) – Another nice game, 12pt/14reb.  Definitely worth a short term add.

Andre Iguodala (PHI) – Nice return for Andre from an achilles problem, 23pt/11reb/7ast.   He’s got the second half of a back to back tonight, but should be good to go from here on out.

Evan Turner (PHI) – Saw his minutes cut back to 20 with the return of Iguodala.  Unfortunately, this could be the norm.

Marreese Speights (PHI) – Speights had a strong 29 minutes on Tuesday, 16pt/9reb.  He should be added to your waiver wire watchlist, especially in keeper leagues.

JaVale McGee (WAS) – McGee is on the verge of breaking out bigtime.  Monster line last night, 24pt/18reb/4blk.  Try and trade for him before the breakout happens.

John Wall (WAS) – Returned from a strained foot and didn’t miss a beat, 25pt/6ast.

Al Thornton (WAS) – Washington went with a three guard set Tuesday and Thornton only managed to see the court for 8 minutes.  He did suffer a sprained ankle though, so maybe this was the cause for using three guards.  Keep an eye on whether Washington does this more in the future.

Derrick Brown (CHA) – This was the third game in a row that Brown has topped 20 minutes.  Add him to your waiver wire watchlist.

Toney Douglas (NYK) – Got hot Tuesday putting up 22 points in 24 minutes, 5 of 7 from three.

Austin Daye/Jason Maxiell (DET) – Maxiell got the start, Daye got the DNP-CD.  Totally unpredictable.  In addition to that, Charlie Villanueva only managed 18 minutes.

Dirk Nowitzki (DAL) – Big game, 42pts/12reb.

Taj Gibson (CHI) – There were rumors before the game that Taj might have to sit out with a foot injury, but he played and put up 16pt/12reb.  He looks fine to use.

Elton Brand (PHI) – His night was cut short by an ejection.

Erick Dampier (MIA) – The Heat have signed Dampier and kudos go out to his agent for playing this one well.  He might be worth a flier if you are desperate at center.  Ilgauskas should keep starting though.
