If any of you guys are fantasy hockey fans, Fanduel.com has a $1000 Fantasy Hockey Tournament on Saturday. Entry fee is $10 and the contest is limited to 110 teams. Sign up early.
I played in the Fanduel.com $3000 Fantasy Basketball Tournament on Wednesday and put up one of my better scores this season, a 336, but finished in 33rd place out of 330 teams. The tourney is held every Wednesday.
There were only two games on Thursday’s Fantasy NBA schedule, but the action should be good tonight with a big 11 game board.
Kevin Durant (OKC) – Durant got 44 minutes of action Thursday and had a pretty good shooting game going 11-22 for 28 points.
Serge Ibaka (OKC) – 6-6 for 13 points and 8 rebounds.
James Harden (OKC) – Couldn’t get it going last night, 1-6 for 7 points. He’s still only shooting 43.0% this season.
Shawn Marion (DAL) – He’s showing that he’s still got a lot left in the tank, 12-17 for 25 points in 37 minutes. He should be a valuable fantasy property for the rest of the season. However, if you are in a keeper league and want to trade him for a young solid keeper, now is probably the time to do so.
Tyson Chandler (DAL) – 14pt/18reb. The OKC interior continues to have their problems defending big men.
Jason Kidd (DAL) – 0 for 7 shooting. He did add 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
Al Harrington (DEN) – He got 31 minutes and looks to be over his injury problems, at least for now.
Nene (DEN) – Still showing some good offensive production, 17 points.
Tyreke Evans (SAC) – The guy has horrible foot problems and they decide run him for 42 minutes in a game that they win by 20. Unbelievably stupid.
DeMarcus Cousins (SAC) – Continues to play well, 20pt/6reb.
Omri Casspi (SAC) – Keep him on your waiver wire watchlist and hope for a trade, 13pt/6reb.
