Carlos Boozer out two months with a broken hand (10/3/10)

Hope you guys had a good weekend.  My Crimson Tide got by Florida and my fantasy football teams are taking leads into tonight’s game, so it’s been a pretty decent weekend here.

I just wanted to drop a single note tonight about the bad news of the day:  Carlos Boozer suffered a broken hand when he tripped over a bag at his home.  He will require surgery and miss about eight weeks.  Taj Gibson should step into the starting power forward spot and makes a nice play for the first month of the season, especially in keeper leagues.  Joakim Noah will probably see some extra minutes too, with a few extra rebounds.

Preseason games start soon, which should provide a much clearer picture of starting lineups around the league.  See you Monday.
