Daily Fantasy Tournament Results for Saturday

Congrats to my buddy Chainsaul for winning the Fanduel.com $4500 Saturday Slam fantasy basketball tournament!  A couple of unfamiliar guys, CCExpress and Jamcon2000, were close behind grabbing second and third place.  CCExpress also took down first place in the Fanduel.com $1000 tourney, with Potvin29 coming in second and the DaBigU taking third.

Long time fantasy hockey player, KennyK_1957,  took down the Fanduel.com $1200 NHL Fantasy Hockey contest yesterday.   Jerm40 took second and TimDiesel took third.

The next big day for NBA fantasy tourneys will be Wednesday, with large field tourneys at Fanduel.com, FantasySportsLive.com  and DraftStreet.com.

News and Notes from Saturday’s Fantasy NBA Action

Paul Millsap (UTA) – Millsap continues to produce without Deron Williams around, 23pts/11reb6ast/3blk.  It’s very similar to what occurred with LaMarcus Aldridge picking up his scoring after losing Brandon Roy.

Friday’s Daily Fantasy Tournament Results

I had absolutely no luck in the Fanduel.com $4500 or the Fanduel.com $1000 fantasy basketball tournaments last night.  My friend headChopper took down the $4500 tourney, so congrats on that one HC.   Another friend and great daily fantasy player, Kaiseroll13, took second in the $4500, while another top daily player, PrimeTime420 took third.

Two guys that I don’t really know, jl9000 and NFCNorthChamps, split first place in the $1000.

Over on FantasySportsLive.com, Cameron (RotoGrinders.com) had a great night taking down the 25 man tourney with a huge score of 375.  Congrats on a nice win Cameron!

The only score I could make last night was the $75  freeroll at Fantasy Factor, where I took down 1st place out of 75 teams.

The $4000 Saturday Slam Tournament tips off tonight at 7:00 pm, so Register for free at Fanduel.com and get in on the action!  Good luck tonight.

Highlights from Friday Night’s Fantasy NBA Action:

Paul Millsap (UTA) – Showed no signs of missing Deron Williams, 23pts/18ast, and might even see an uptick in value if the Jazz lean on him to pick up the scoring that Williams took with him to NJ.

Fantasy Basketball Daily News and Notes (2/24/11)

The daily fantasy basketball tournament scene is really starting to grow lately.  Fanduel.com had their $4000 and $1000 tournaments last night, DraftStreet.com had a $2500 tournament and FantasySportsLive.com also had some large field tournaments going on.  These games are a great way to make some serious cash off of a very small investment.  Most of you guys are playing anyway, so why not win a little money from your fantasy knowledge?  The next round of daily tournaments is scheduled for Friday, so check these sites out and get registered for some great fantasy basketball action.

Daily News and Notes from Wednesday night’s Fantasy NBA Action:

Chuck Hayes (HOU) – Blew up for a 12pt/17reb line.  This isn’t a true representation of his production, but rather a signal about the guy who was guarding him, J.J. Hickson.   Hickson could be a fantasy star, but he has to improve his defense to stay on the court.

NBA Fantasy All-Star Game Weekend (2/20/11)

Hope you guys are all enjoying your NBA All-Star Weekend.  Can you believe that the season is already two-thirds over?  It should be an entertaining game tonight at 8:00 pm EST on TNT, so get your popcorn ready.  Not much fantasy news going on this weekend, but I couldn’t resist checking in with a few interesting things from around the web.

Fanskills.com – The daily fantasy game scene is really growing right now and the newest site on the block is Fanskills.com.  My friend Brandon developed the site from ideas he gathered as a player on other daily sites and I think he has some great ideas for daily fantasy.  The games at Fanskills.com don’t go fully active until April, but they are already taking signups on their homepage.  There will be some free money available for guys getting signed up early, so get over there and register for free!
