Fantasy Basketball Daily Injury Report for Saturday, December 8
Dec 8, 2012 NBA Injury Report
Carmelo Anthony (NYK) – Melo is a gametime decision today with a cut on his finger that required six stitches. He missed his last game and his teammates were able to beat Miami, so there’s a good chance the Knicks could rest him here as well.
Nicolas Batum (POR) – Batum is dealing with a back injury and is a gametime decision tonight.
Dion Waiters (CLE) – Waiters is doubtful tonight with an ankle injury.
Chris Kaman (DAL) – Questionable Saturday with an ankle injury.
Shawn Marion (DAL) – Questionable Saturday with a groin injury.
Raymond Felton (NYK) – He aggravated his thumb injury last game, but is probable for tonight. There is no guarantee on what kind of production you’ll get out of him tonight and it might be a good idea to find a better option.
Kyle Lowry (TOR) – Aggravated his previous right ankle injury and could be questionable for his next game. If he misses time, Jose Calderon would get the start at PG and makes a nice daily play.
Andrei Kirilenko (MIN) – Kirilenko was able to log 31 minutes Friday night, so maybe his back problems are healing. Make sure you check his next gametime status before using him.
Al Jefferson (UTA) – Missed Friday with a back injury. Jefferson says he’ll be back on the court Sunday. Not sure how long he’s going to be out, so keep an eye on his gametime status.
Richard Jefferson (GSW) – Remains out with a calf injury. No word on a return date, but he’s now firmly behind Harrison Barnes on the depth chart.
Derrick Favors (UTA) – Has plantar fasciitis and it’s unknown how long he’s going to be out.
DeJuan Blair (SAS) – Blair suffered some type of injury when he fell hard on the court Friday. Not exactly sure what he did, but he left the game and didn’t return. Check it for his next game.
Mike Dunleavy (MIL) – Dunleavy missed another game with his sore knee. He’s going to be DTD for awhile.
Byron Mullens (CHA) – Suffered an ankle injury and didn’t return to last night’s game against Milwuakee. The game was a blowout at the time and it isn’t clear whether the injury kept him out our if the Bobcats just gave up and rested him.
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (MIL) – He’s still having problems with his knee. He’s not much of a fantasy asset anyway, but he should be on the wire as long as he’s dealing with health issues.
Ed Davis (TOR) – Suffered a dislocated right ring finger Friday.
Tony Allen (MEM) – Returned after missing three games with a groin injury, but only logged 22 minutes and maybe he isn’t fully healed yet. He’s not much of a fantasy asset, but he’s unplayable at anything less than 25 minutes per night.
Nikola Pekovic (MIN) – Pekovic is trying to play through an ankle injury and he’s really killing his fantasy owners right now. The Wolves could shut him down for a few games and you should too.
Tyreke Evans (SAC) – Evans missed another game with his sore knee. He had an MRI, but everything came back clean.
Kosta Koufos (DEN) – Returned from the flu and should be safe to use going forward.
Kwame Brown (PHI) – Missed Friday with a stomach virus.
Nick Young (PHI) – Missed Friday with a toe injury. There’s a chance he could play tonight, but I’d play it safe and avoid him in daily leagues.
