Seems like everyone is slowing down and catching their breath this last week before the season starts. Most of the rotation questions have been answered and health issues are getting clearer and luckily all the previews are done and over with.
Fox Sports with their Top 10 NBA Players by Position.
ESPN Boston reports that Tony Allen could miss the start of the season for the Boston Celtics with an ankle problem. The article didn’t sound too positive and it seems like the ankle might not be healing up well from offseason surgery. More backup minutes for Marquis Daniels.
SilverScreenandRoll.com with a preview of the Lakers point guard position and how the minutes might be distributed.
For all you guys who want to know about the 2010 NBA Draft Prospects, check out these articles by Draft Express reviewing the NBA prospects by college conference.
RotoTimes.com with a preview of the fantasy players from the Pacific Division.
RotoSynthesis with their list of Fantasy Sleepers.
Hoopsworld.com with a list of guys they think could really breakout this season.
Contra Costa Times with a good article on Anthony Morrow. I picked up Morrow in one of my leagues for his threes. It looks like he might get the starting SG spot and get decent minutes. If you need threes, give him a roster spot.
TheStar.com reports that DeMar DeRozan has the starting SG spot in Toronto. I like DeRozan, but I’m not sure that he will offer the kind of fantasy stats that you could be getting with proven vets. He is more valuable if you are building a keeper team.
Washington Post with an update on Antawn Jamison’s shoulder injury. It sounds like Jamison might miss a few regular season games, but with that type of injury I’ll gladly take him only missing a few. It could have been a lot worse.
DenverStiffs.com with their thoughts on H2H vs. Roto leagues, as well analysis of some fantasy players. I tend to agree with this article and I am another proponent of H2H leagues. It just makes the season more fun and keeps everyone involved.
ProFantasyBasketball.com with their Top Fantasy PG sleepers.
FourPointPlay.com League Draft results. Sounds like a fun draft with some hilarious comments.
NetsAreScorching.com examines the current New Jersey starting lineup.
Orlando Sentinel with fantasy notes on all the Orlando Magic players.
Washington Examiner reports that Brendan Haywood should be back in action Monday after missing 3 games with an ankle sprain.
