Fantasy Basketball Daily News and Notes (11/22/10)

Daily Cash Games – I went 1-0 last night on Fanduel.com.    It’s been a quiet weekend, but the schedule gets a little busier Monday, so I’ll probably put in a big slate of bets tonight.   Cash game rosters are due by 7:00 pm EST.

I’ve had a couple people ask me about other games at Fanduel.com, and yes they have one day NHL Hockey and NFL Football cash games at their site, so you can play more than just daily NBA Basketball there.  It’s free to register, so check them out.

FantasyBasketballDaily.com News and Notes:

Rajon Rondo (BOS) – Missed Sunday with a hamstring injury.  Nate Robinson got the start.  I wish Nate got more minutes because he usually puts up great fantasy stats when given the chance.

Jose Calderon (TOR) – Moved into the starting lineup after the trade of Jarrett Jack and played 33 minutes, but didn’t really do much.  Grabbing Jerryd Bayless might be a nice gamble if the Raptors are truly serious about going into rebuilding mode.  Calderon would be a nice fit for the Heat.

John Wall (WAS) – Missed again Sunday.  Gilbert Arenas got another start and is making his case to remain in the starting lineup, 19pt/16ast.

Austin Daye/Jason Maxiell (DET) – I get the feeling Kuester just flips a coin to see which one of these guys starts.  Maxiell got the start, Daye got the DNP-CD.  Good luck figuring that situation out.

Charlie Villanueva (DET) – While Kuester is busy flipping coins deciding between Daye and Maxiell, Villanueva continues to come off the bench.  He put up 25pt/11reb Sunday.  I can understand the need for offense on the second team, but Villanueva really should be starting if the Pistons want to win games.

New Orleans/Sacramento – Quite possibly the most boring game I’ve seen all year.   That Sacramento roster is a mess, avoid everyone.

Monta Ellis (GSW) – Got completely shut down by the Lakers.   I didn’t get to see this one, so I can only guess that Artest brought his defensive ‘A’ game.

Jeff Adrien (GSW) – File his name away on your keeper watchlist.  He might be one of those guys who is a late bloomer.

Pau Gasol (LAL) – 10 of 10 from the field, 8 of 8 from the line.  I’m sure that saved a couple of fantasy owners’ matchups this week.

Udonis Haslem (MIA) – Tore ligaments in his foot and will be out until February.  Zydrunas Ilgauskas could gain a little value out of this.
