From the iPod – ‘Memories’ from Joell Ortiz.
Spencer Hawes (PHI) – Hawes is starting to figure things out this season and his minutes are increasing. 24 minutes last night with 18pt/5reb/4ast.
Andre Iguodala (PHI) – He’s still dealing with the achilles injury and it’s affecting his play, 8pt/5reb/4ast.
Anthony Morrow (NJN) – Suffered a hamstring injury. Stephen Graham replaced him. No idea how long he’s going to be out. Graham isn’t a very attractive pickup.
Terrence Williams (HOU) – The Nets traded Williams to the Rockets. He might be a decent flier in keeper leagues, but he’s stuck behind wings Martin, C. Lee, Battier and Budinger.
Derrick Favors (NJN) – I wouldn’t be surprised to see Troy Murphy as the next player shipped out of Jersey. Favors has been playing well, 10pt/13reb in 27 minutes Tuesday.
Kobe Bryant (LAL) – 24 points on 7-13 shooting, Lakers win.
Andrew Bynum (LAL) – He finally got back on the court and played 17 minutes. He should work his way back into the starting lineup, with Lamar Odom returning to a reserve spot. I’d hold on to Odom though, he’ll still have plenty of value. Pau Gasol may also lose some minutes now, but he needs the rest, so fewer minutes could be a long term help to fantasy owners.
Yi Jianlian (WAS) – He got a start for the injured Andray Blatche and lasted all of 5 minutes before suffering a right knee injury. The guy has potential, but sadly he’ll probably never develop it.
John Wall (WAS) – How long before we start calling him ‘the injury prone John Wall’? Kirk Hinrich will continue to start while Wall is out. Nick Young is also getting some good minutes and producing, 21 points Tuesday.
Jerryd Bayless (TOR) – Got another start in place of the injured Jose Calderon and had a decent game, 17pt/9ast. The Toronto PG spot could be evolving into another timeshare situation.
Stephen Jackson (CHA) – Jackson is an frustratingly unpredictable player, 7pt/4reb/4ast. He was in foul trouble all night.
Al Horford (ATL) – Horford is quietly carrying the Hawks team while Joe Johnson is out. The guy doesn’t get enough credit, 17pt/12reb.
Charlie Villanueva (DET) – CV finally decided to show up for a game, 23pt/11reb.
Greg Monroe (DET) – Got the start Tuesday and makes a great pickup in keeper leagues.
DeMarcus Cousins (SAC) – Cousins is showing that he can handle the starting center spot, 17pt/7reb. Sacramento should definitely start shopping Dalembert.
Tyreke Evans (SAC) – He’s going to miss at least three games with his foot problems. Francisco Garcia and Luther Head will get starts, but neither is worth a pickup. The real bump in value could go to Beno Udrih, as he will be asked to do more on offense.
Chase Budinger (HOU) – Starting to heat up, 7-10 for 18 points. He better keep it going now that Terrence Williams is in town.
Jameer Nelson (ORL) – Tough game, 1-10 shooting for 4 points.
J.J. Redick (ORL) – Got 38 minutes of run and produced 29 points on 9-12 shooting. 6-9 from three.
Chauncey Billups (DEN) – He’s out for a few games with a wrist injury. I’ve seen a few reports of him trying to return Saturday, but I also saw that the injury is a torn ligament, which doesn’t sound positive. Either way, it definitely isn’t the kind of injury you want to see in your primary ballhandler. Ty Lawson got the start, 16pt/6ast, and makes a great short term pickup.
Darko Milicic (MIN) – Didn’t show any lingering effects from his recent leg injury, 25pt/11reb.
Jonny Flynn (MIN) – Returned last night, but only got 17 minutes and looked really rusty. The PG spot should develop into a timeshare between Luke Ridnour and Flynn.
Reggie Williams (GSW) – Another start in place of the injured Stephen Curry, 26pt/5reb but only 2 assists. Williams is definitely more of a shooting guard than he is point guard.
Monta Ellis (GSW) – Good line, 34pt/4reb/6ast. The Warriors really lean on him when Curry is out.
Jamal Crawford (ATL) – He’s dealing with some back soreness, so be careful using him.
