Fantasy Basketball Daily News and Notes (12/3/10)

Daily Cash Games – I only entered a single 10 player tourney at FantasySportsLive.com Thursday and somehow managed to pick the winning combination with only two NBA games for the win.   5:1 payout on my entry fee.  Nice.

As with everything else LeBron, last night’s game really didn’t present anything out of the ordinary and pretty much failed to deliver on the hype.  It kind of remined me of a WWE event with all the homemade signs.  The introduction and chalk toss was fun (notice a skinny Drew Carey in the background behind the announcers?), but after that it was business as usual and the rout was on, as expected.

LeBron James (MIA) – Put up 38 points just because he could.

James Jones (MIA) – Got hot going 5-7 from three.

Daniel Gibson (CLE) – He was the only guy on the Cavs who really wanted to play against LeBron, 21pt/4reb.

Grant Hill (PHO) – He’s been dealing with some foot problems, but looked good putting up 24 points Thursday.  Keep him active.

Jason Richardson (PHO) – Good shooting night, 10-15 for 25 points.

Monta Ellis (GSW) – He tried to win this one by himself, 16-27, 38 points.

David Lee (GSW) – Lee has returned to a must start, 25pt/8reb.

Terrence Williams (NJN) – Put up a nice D-League triple double, 16pt/15reb/13ast.  He doesn’t belong in the D-League and should be back soon.

Joe Johnson (ATL) – His elbow surgery Thursday was a success, but he’ll still be out 4-6 weeks.

Earl Barron (PHO) – Got the start for Phoenix last night, 2pt/4reb.  Probably not worth a pickup yet.
