Fantasy Basketball Daily News and Notes (12/6/10)

Daily Cash Games – Only one game yesterday on Fanduel.com and it was a winner.   Congrats to GeneralV on winning the Fanduel.com $25,000 Fantasy Football Championship yesterday.

FantasyJudgment.com – This is a cool site that could benefit players in season long leagues who run into conflicts with other league owners or need an interpretation of league rules and bylaws.  The lawyers at FantasyJudgment.com will gather all relevant information and render a written court decision on your fantasy conflict.  It’s a pretty useful tool, so check it out.

Rajon Rondo (BOS) – Rondo was a surprise scratch Sunday with hamstring and foot problems.  Nate Robinson stepped in and had a good game, 21pt/6reb/6ast.

Devin Harris (NJN) – Harris returned after missing a few games with a knee sprain, but he didn’t do much, 7pt/2reb/3ast.  He was clearly outplayed by Jordan Farmar who put up 16pt/4reb/2ast/3stl.   This situation could get ugly.

Brook Lopez (NJN) – Lopez has been a real disappointment this season and just doesn’t look like the same player, 5pt/6reb.

Amare Stoudemire (NYK) – Just keeps rolling, 31pt/16reb.

Landry Fields (NYK) – This season’s biggest rookie surprise, 15pt/10reb.

Jerryd Bayless (TOR) – I’ve been telling you to grab Bayless, but you might not have much longer to do so, 23pt/7reb/6ast Sunday.

Amir Johnson (TOR) – Solid game, 22pt/16reb.  Reggie Evans is going to be out for awhile and Johnson should be a nice short term add.

Greg Monroe (DET) – Monroe is a must add in keeper leagues, 8pt/7reb.

Manu Ginobili (SAS) – Only got 22 minutes Sunday due to a sore neck, so keep an eye on whether the Spurs try to bring his minutes down to the 27 minute range, which is what Manu has averaged the past couple of seasons.

Stephen Curry (GSW) – Great shooting night, 14-20 for 39 points.

Kevin Durant (OKC) – Returned from a knee problem and was able to go 38 minutes, 28pt/7reb.  Keep him active this week.

Xavier Henry (MEM) – He’s hanging on to the starting job and outplayed O.J. Mayo Sunday putting up 17 points on 8-12 shooting.  He allowed a season high point total to Arron Afflalo, so he might need to work on his defense.

Carmelo Anthony (DEN) – Tough night, 4-20 for only 13 points.

Arron Afflalo (DEN) – Put up a season high 25 points Sunday.

Nene (DEN) – Season high for Nene also, 27 points with 11reb/6ast.

Andray Blatche (WAS) – Blatche put up 24 points Sunday, but didn’t add much in the other categories.

John Wall (WAS) – Another tough game shooting the ball, 4-12, but he did manage 12 assists.  He’s only shooting 41.4% this season.

Steve Nash (PHO) – Big game, 20pt/17ast.

Hakim Warrick (PHO) – Came off the bench but put up a nice line going 10-13 for 26 points.

Earl Barron (PHO) – He got another start, but only 19 minutes.  He performed pretty well though, 7pt/8reb.   Keep him on your waiver wire watchlist.

Blake Griffin (LAC) – Nobody seems to be able to slow him down, 21pt/15ast.   He’s starting to pull away in the Rookie of the Year race.

Baron Davis (LAC) – Another solid game, 14pt/6reb/8ast.  He should move back into the starting role soon.

Wesley Matthews (POR) – Led the Blazers again in scoring with 26 points.  The only problem with Matthews is that he doesn’t really contribute in anything other than scoring.

LeMarcus Aldridge (POR) – Bad game from Aldridge, 4pt/5reb.

Chris Kaman (LAC) – Aggravated his ankle injury and could be out for awhile.
