Fantasy News and Notes from Tuesday’s Fantasy NBA Action:
Nene (DEN) – Great game last night, 21 points and 9 rebounds. He’s really picked up his offensive game this season.
Andray Blatche (WAS) – Had a meltdown yesterday which may have motivated him to have a good game, 25pts/9reb/4ast/3stl. Blatche is an emotional player and can get himself in trouble, but he also has the ability to get fired up and put up some big lines. Stick with him.
Nick Young (WAS) – The Wizards are leaning hard on Young and he’s responding well to the pressure. He led the team again last night with 19 shot attempts, 26pts/5reb.
Christian Eyenga (CLE) – Got a start last night and performed well, 15pts/3reb with a block. The guy has some raw athletic talent and should be on your waiver wire watchlist.
J.J. Hickson (CLE) – 17 rebounds Tuesday, which is exactly what will keep him in the lineup.
Kendrick Perkins (BOS) – Perkins returned from his ACL injury and got 17 minutes, 7pts/6reb/3ast. Grab him off the wire immediately.
Paul Pierce (BOS) – Suffered a minor ankle injury Tuesday, check his next gametime status.
Blake Griffin (LAC) – Solid game from Blake, 22pts/11reb, but he injured his elbow in the third quarter. Not sure how severe it is, but be safe and check his gametime status tonight before starting him.
Randy Foye (LAC) – Eric Gordon is going to be out for a couple of weeks and it looks like Foye is the choice to replace him, 15pts/4ast.
Jason Terry (DAL) – Nice offensive night from Terry, 11 of 22 shooting for 28 points.
J.J. Barea (DAL) – Had a surprising line, 25 points on 9 0f 12 shooting. Jason Kidd wasn’t feeling it last night, so Barea got some extra run. Keep an eye on Kidd’s minutes.
Kwame Brown (CHA) – Brown is actually looking fantasy worthy, 13pts/18reb. He’ll probably disappoint, but if you are desperate he’s worth an add since Tyrus Thomas is out for awhile.
C.J. Miles (UTA) – Got the start last night with Andrei Kirilenko coming off the bench. Miles looked pretty good, 14pts/4reb/5ast/3stl. I’d say pick him up, but there’s no guarantee how long this arrangement is going to last.
Stephen Curry (GSW) – He’s still a gametime decision tonight with an ankle injury. Reggie Williams will pick up a start if Curry can’t go.
J.R. Smith (DEN) – Back in the doghouse, benched the first half for being late to shootaround. The guy has talent, but he’s just a headcase.
LaMarcus Aldridge (POR) – The MRI on his hip came back clean and he’s probable for Thursday. Portland finally dodged a bullet.
