News and Notes from Tuesday Night’s Fantasy Basketball Action:
Caron Butler (DAL) – He’s probably done for the year. Shawn Marion and Jason Terry get a boost in value.
Keyon Dooling (MIL) – Dooling seems to be earning a larger portion of the PG timeshare with Earl Boykins. He’s a decent pickup until Jennings returns in late January.
Chris Bosh (MIA) – Congrats if you were able to trade for Bosh when he started slow this year, 19pt/12reb.
Dwyane Wade (MIA) – 10 of 19 for 34 points. Miami better hope that none of the big three go down with an injury.
Ronny Turiaf (NYK) – Turiaf got the start at center and played 22 minutes, but didn’t really do much putting up only 4pt/2reb.
Raymond Felton (NYK) – Had a great game going for 28 points and 7 assists.
Andrea Bargnani (TOR) – Returned Tuesday and was able to play 32 minutes, 23pt/6reb. Get him back in your lineup.
Jose Calderon (TOR) – Missed another game with a foot injury. Jerryd Bayless is also a little banged up, but was able to start and put up 11pt/8reb.
Taj Gibson (CHI) – Gibson seems to be recovering from his concussion and managed a 16pt/14pt double-double in only 25 minutes. He might be worth an add if anyone in your league gave up on him.
Omer Asik (CHI) – Picked up 5 blocks last night. Give him a spot if you need some help in that category.
James Harden (OKC) – Harden’s offensive game is really improving, 17 points on just 7 shot attempts. 3 of 3 from three point range.
Zach Randolph (MEM) – 31pt/16reb. Oklahoma City really has some problems stopping big men.
Rudy Gay (MEM) – Good game shooting the ball, 12-18 for 27 points.
Marcus Camby (POR) – 20 rebounds against the Mavs.
LaMarcus Aldridge (POR) – He’s the go-to guy now for Portland, 28pt/10reb.
Nicolas Batum (POR) – Tweaked an ankle, so check tonight’s gametime status before starting him.
DeShawn Stevenson (DAL) – A surprising 18 points Tuesday and his value gets a boost with the news that Caron Butler could be out for the year. Rodrigue Beaubois is also reportedly at least a month away from returning, which makes Stevenson a decent add if you are weak at SG.
Joe Johnson (ATL) – Might be getting his shooting stroke back, 12-18 for 29 points.
Jamal Crawford (ATL) – Had a rare good game, 10-17 for 31 points.
Omri Casspi (SAC) – Put Casspi on your waiver wire watchlist, 10pt/11reb. A trade would really help his value.
DeMarcus Cousins (SAC) – He’s really trying to solidify his spot as the starting center for the Kings, 24pt/7reb. Sacramento really needs to be patient with his attitude and let him gain valuable experience.
Greg Monron (DET) – Add in keeper leagues, 14pt/11reb in 30 minutes off the bench.
Rodney Stuckey (DET) – Having some problems recovering from the flu, only 13 minutes Tuesday. Or maybe Detroit is trying to showcase Tracy McGrady?
