Daily Cash Games – Lucky night on Fanduel.com going 7-0 and 5-2 on FantasySportsLive.com. Don’t forget the $1000 Fantasy Hockey Tournament on Fanduel.com today if you are a hockey fan.
News and Notes from Friday’s Fantasy Action:
Tim Duncan (SAS) – 15pt/15reb and even picked up 5 blocks for fantasy owners.
Tony Parker (SAS) – Parker played through the flu last night so I’ll give him a free pass on his terrible 10pt/5reb/2ast line.
George Hill (SAS) – Hill got 37 minutes against the Pacers, which was a team high. He’s a sneaky play in daily cash games.
Tyler Hansbrough (IND) – Got the start and put up a big line, 23pt/12reb. Check your wire to see if he’s still out there.
Roy Hibbert (IND) – Hibbert is back in the starting lineup, but he’s still struggling with his shot, 5-17 for only 10 points. He’s down to 44.9% this season, which is terrible for someone who takes most of their shots less than 10 feet from the rim.
Carlos Boozer (CHI) – There didn’t seem to be any lingering problems with Boozer after his 4th quarter benching in his last game, 31pt/13reb. Keep him active.
Jodie Meeks (PHI) – Got hot going 8-11 for 24 points. He needs to have a few more of these performances before I recommend him again.
Spencer Hawes (PHI) – His back problems seem to have subsided and he was able to go 27 minutes, 8pt/8reb.
Derrick Favors (NJN) – Still starting, 12pt/6reb/2blk in 25 minutes. He’s probably going to get traded, but it might be a blessing if he lands in the right situation.
Devin Harris (NJN) – Got hurt last night – again. Probably the most injury prone player in the NBA. Jordan Farmar will gain some value if Harris misses time with his thigh injury.
Rashard Lewis (WAS) – He’s enjoying life after the trade to the Wizards, 16pt/13reb/6ast. He also added 3 steals and a block. I was skeptical at first, but it looks like he’s going to be just fine. However, it might be a prime opportunity to dump him in keeper leagues if you want to try and trade for some young cheap talent.
John Wall (WAS) – Couldn’t get it going, 5pt/9ast on 2-8 shooting.
DeMar DeRozan (TOR) – He’s really playing well right now, 8-15 for 20 points.
Luke Harangody (BOS) – 17pt/11reb with 2 blocks. No idea where that came from, but he still isn’t worth an add.
Rajon Rondo (BOS) – Off night for Rondo, 9pt/7ast with a big 6 in the turnover category.
Wes Matthews (POR) – Had it going from three making 7 of 10. He was 10-18 overall for 36 points.
LaMarcus Aldridge (POR) – 28pt/10reb. He’s turned into a fantasy stud since Brandon Roy got injured.
Kevin Love (MIN) – 30pt/19reb. He won all of my daily fantasy games.
Kevin Martin (HOU) – Snapped out of his mini slump with 45 and 27 points in his last two games. Keep running him out there.
Patrick Patterson (HOU) – Keeper league owners should definitely be adding Patterson, 12pt/4reb in 22 minutes.
Dwight Howard (ORL) – Had a some foul trouble and ended up with a very quiet line, 13pt/11reb/2blk. I was expecting a lot more against the weak centers that Houston puts out there.
Paul Millsap (UTA) – Millsap was a gametime decision with a hip injury, but he looked fine going for 20pt/8reb. Keep him in your lineup.
Al Jefferson (UTA) – Nice game, 16pt/13reb with 5 blocks.
Rudy Gay (MEM) – He’s been shooting the ball really well over the last couple of weeks, 8-14 for 28 points. He’s been picking up a few more attempts with Mayo out of the starting lineup.
Dwyane Wade (MIA) – Tough night shooting, 4-19 for 14 points.
Andrew Bogut (MIL) – 27 rebounds last night. He’s still not shooting very well, 4-17 for 12 points. He’s a career 52.7% shooter, but he’s sitting at 48.2% this season. He’s never finished a season below 51%.
Chris Douglas-Roberts (MIL) – Got a big 41 minutes against the Heat and had a great game going 12-19 for 30 points.
Manny Harris (CLE) – Got a start for Daniel Gibson and had a great game, 16pt/10reb/4ast/3stl. He’s only 21 years old, so he might be worth a gamble if you are in a deep keeper league. Gibson is probably out for 4-5 more games, so keep an eye on this audition for Harris.
Anderson Varejao (CLE) – Missed with an ankle injury. J.J. Hickson got some extra run, 17pt/9reb.
David Lee (GSW) – Lee has had some terrible injury luck, but he’s a prime buy low target right now. If you can get him for a second half run, pull the trigger, 22pt/14reb last night.
Chris Paul (NOR) – Fantasy owners have to be getting a little annoyed at games like this where Paul takes a whopping 6 shot attempts. Paul is averaging 11.2 shot attempts per game this season. The last three seasons he’s averaged 14.2. 16.1 and 16.1.
Pau Gasol (LAL) – Good game from Pau, 21pt/13reb/7ast.
Andrew Bynum (LAL) – He’s settled into a solid 30 minutes a game, 17pt/5reb/3blk. He should be able to put up lines like this on a regular basis.
Raymond Felton (NYK) – Triple-double, 23pt/10reb/11ast.
