News and Notes from Tuesday’s Fantasy NBA Action:

Dwyane Wade (MIA) – Wade put up a huge line Tuesday with 41 points and 12 rebounds on 16 of 29 shooting.

LeBron James (MIA) – Filled the stat sheet last night against Indiana with 27pts/6reb/5ast/2stl/2blk.

Mike Miller (MIA) – Suffered another head/eye injury which could be related to his past concussions.  He’s likely out tonight.

Roy Hibbert (IND) – Hibbert is really trying to turn his season around under a new head coach, Frank Vogel.  Hibbert put up 18pts/7reb/2blk Tuesday.

Darren Collison (IND) – Tough shooting night for Collison, 1 for 11 for just 7 points.  He should bounce back, nothing to worry about.

Paul George (IND) – George is a guy that you might want to gamble on in keeper leagues.  He got 31 minutes last night and could be in line for a bigger role as Indiana changes things up a bit under a new coaching staff.  Vogel seems to like and trust George, so he could find himself in the 25-30 minute range soon.

D.J. Augustin/Shaun Livingston (CHA) – This has turned into an ugly timeshare headache for fantasy owners.  Augustin got 21 minutes Tuesday, while Livingston got 27.  It may be due to Augustin’s wrist injury, but Paul Silas can’t seem to make up his mind which guy he wants to roll with.  Avoid them for now.

Gerald Henderson (CHA) – It’s getting hard to ignore Henderson after seeing him put up 18 and 22 points in his last two games.  He’s not a pickup yet, but he could be a hot fantasy commodity if Stephen Jackson gets moved.

Derrick Rose (CHI) – Had a horrible first half, but turned in on the second to salvage a pretty good fantasy line, 18pts/13ast.  He was only 5 of 14 from the floor.

DeMarcus Cousins (SAC) – Kudos to the Kings for sticking with Cousins, 21pts/13reb/2blk.  Keep starting him.

Tyreke Evans (SAC) – Surprise scratch last night with his chronic foot problems.  I’ve warned before that this could be a continuing problem with Evans.  For whatever reason, the Kings just insist on riding him 40+ minutes in some games knowing that he has the existing health problem.  They will be really lucky if he doesn’t tear up a knee as he tries to compensate  for the foot problems.  You’re 13-39, just bench put him on the bench and get him healthy.

Kevin Durant (OKC) – Bad night by Durant’s standards, 5 of 18 for 17 points.

James Harden (OKC) – Returned last night and went 4 of 8 for 12 points.  Harden is a guy you really want to look at for next season if you are in a keeper league.  His defense is getting better, which might make Thabo Sefolosha expendable.  How good would a Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Green, Ibaka lineup be?

Rudy Gay (MEM) – Suffered a shoulder injury in the second quarter and didn’t return.  He was off to a great start before leaving with 11 points and 4 rebounds.

Sam Young (MEM) – Young could be a great pickup if Gay’s injury is serious.  Tony Allen could also see some extra minutes.

Zach Randolph (MEM) – Becomes the focal point of the offense without Gay in the lineup, 21pts/10reb/7ast.

O.J. Mayo (MEM) – Only got 6 minutes in his return from suspension.  Give him a couple more games and then cut him.

C.J. Miles (UTA) – Miles is doing a great job filling in for Andrei Kirilenko and Raja Bell, 19 points on 8 of 19 shooting.

Gordon Hayward (UTA) – Getting some extra run with Andrei Kirilenko out, 9pts/8reb/3stl in 26 minutes.  Definitely worth a look in keeper leagues, especially if Kirilenko gets traded.

Channing Frye (PHO) – Great shooting game, 12 of 16 for 31 points.  6 of 10 from three and he even picked up 11 rebounds.

Marcin Gortat (PHO) – Still getting good run, 36 minutes Tuesday.  11 points, 7 rebounds, 1 block, 1 steal.  There’s a really good chance that he’s the starting center for the Suns next season.

Marcus Thornton (NOR) – Followed up his 24 point game by going 1 for 6 for 4 points.  Nice.  I have no idea why I keep holding on to him in one of my keeper leagues.
