The Washington Wizards finally picked up their first win of the season Wednesday night beating Portland 84-82. It wasn’t pretty, but I’m sure they’ll take it. Here’s a look at the fantasy highlights from Wednesday’s 11 game NBA schedule:
Portland 82 @ Washington 84
LaMarcus Aldridge aggravated his back injury, but still managed 41 minutes. Check his status for the next game.
Nic Batum was 5 of 10 from three, 16 points.
Wesley Matthews is still suffering from his thumb injury, 2 of 10 shooting.
Damian Lillard with a tough shooting night, 6 for 21.
Kevin Seraphin got another start and 33 minutes. 10 points, 10 rebounds. Definitely worth a waiver wire add.
Nene got on the court for 19 minutes, 6 points and 6 rebounds.
AJ Price was 1 for 7 and is headed toward a timeshare with Shaun Livingston.
San Antonio 110 @ Orlando 89
Gary Neal with a solid start, 19 points and 3 steals. Worth a short term waiver add.
Danny Green 3 of 6 from three. Worth a play if you need threes.
Tim Duncan with 5 blocks.
JJ Redick is a fantasy tease. He only logged 22 minutes, 7 points on 3 of 9 shooting.
Moe Harkless got 21 minutes of run. Worth a look in deep keeper leagues.
Nikola Vucevic seeing his fantasy value drop. Just 16 minutes, 2 points and 5 rebounds.
Brooklyn 95 @ Boston 83
Kris Humphries and Gerald Wallace got ejected for fighting.
Deron Williams 3 of 12, 8 points.
Reggie Evans could be a good short term play if Kris Humphries gets a suspension.
Rajon Rondo got ejected for fighting.
Kevin Garnett with another double-double, 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Paul Pierce struggled, 4 of 13 for 14 points.
Charlotte 91 @ Atlanta 94
Ben Gordon was hot going 7 of 10 from three, 26 points.
Kemba Walker cold, 4 of 15 for 15 points.
Bismack Biyombo returned to action, 4 blocks.
Josh Smith finally had a good fantasy game: 17 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 blocks and 3 steals.
Al Horford with a big game: 17 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 blocks.
Lou Williams with a good sixth man appearance, 17 points on 7 of 16 shooting.
Phoenix 77 @ Detroit 117
Markieff Morris losing some fantasy luster, 10 points and 3 rebounds.
Michael Beasley with his worst game yet, 2 points on 1 of 6 shooting.
Marcin Gortat trying to match Beasley, 1 of 6 shooting for 6 points.
Goran Dragic limited to 17 minutes.
Brandon Knight is really picking up his game, 19 points and 6 assists. Check your wire to make sure he isn’t out there.
Kyle Singler continues to start, 12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
Rodney Stuckey getting a little better and maybe worth an add soon, 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
Andre Drummond 26 minutes, 6 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. Can’t wait for this guy to move into the starting lineup.
Dallas 78 @ Chicago 101
Shawn Marion finally recovering from his recent injury, 18 points 0n 11 shots.
OJ Mayo still seems bothered by his ankles, 2 of 9 for 4 points.
Darren Collison missed the game with a sprained finger.
Dominique Jones got another start, 10 points and 5 assists.
Rip Hamilton with an 18 minute dud, 4 points and 4 assists.
Jimmy Butler 28 minutes. Keep an eye on this guy in keeper leagues.
Nate Robinson with an efficient game: 5 of 6 shooting for 14 points and 6 assists in just 21 minutes.
New York 102 @ Milwaukee 88
J.R. Smith with his first really bad game, 1 of 5 shooting for 2 points in only 18 minutes.
Carmelo Anthony 29 points on 18 shots.
Pablo Prigioni with 28 minutes of action, 11 points and 7 assists.
Jason Kidd seems to be out for awhile with his back issue.
Ersan Ilyasova down to 13 minutes off the bench. I’ve picked him up in a few leagues and will continue to hold him for a few weeks. He was a very slow starter last season too.
Doron Lamb 24 minutes, 3 0f 8 for 8 points.
John Henson only 12 minutes. He’s a great keeper league speculation.
Toronto 82 @ Memphis 103
Andrea Bargnani was a surprise scratch with an ankle injury.
Ed Davis got the start at PF and had 10 points, 6 rebounds.
Kyle Lowry is really slumping, could be due to lingering ankle injury. 3 of 10 for 12 points.
Jonas Valanciunas with a bad game against Randolph and Gasol, 2 points and 2 rebounds in 28 minutes.
Terrence Ross with 30 minutes and should be picked up in deep leagues.
Zach Randolph, the double-double machine, 17 points and 13 rebounds.
Mike Conley 4 of 5 from three, 16 points.
Marreese Speights with some garbage time, 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Utah 96 @ New Orleans 84
Marvin Williams suffered a possible concussion and could miss a few games.
Derrick Favors could be in store for a few starts with Marvin Williams out. Great short term daily fantasy cash game play at just $6100.
Mo Williams missed another game with a foot injury. Jamaal Tinsley got the start.
Greivis Vasquez still rolling along, 18 points and 8 assists.
Austin Rivers has been a huge fantasy disappointment, 2 points and zero assists.
Anthony Davis is probably out for another two weeks.
Houston 98 @ Oklahoma City 120
James Harden with a disappointing return to OKC, 3 of 16 shooting.
Omer Asik a big double-double, 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Chandler Parsons was a surprise scratch with a shoulder injury, MRI coming.
Patrick Patterson with a huge game, 11 of 18 for 27 points. He’s floating aound on a few wires, grab him.
Serge Ibaka 11 of 13 for 23 points. 6 blocks.
Kevin Durant 13 of 22 for 37 points.
Jeremy Lamb played 2 minutes and hit two threes for a quick 6 points. This guy needs more opportunity and should definitely be rostered in keeper leagues.
Minnesota 95 @ LA Clippers 101
Kevin Love with a poor shooting night, 3 of 12. He still managed a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Andrei Kirilenko missed this game with back spasms. Josh Howard got the start.
Derrick Williams is now behind Josh Howard on the depth chart. Time to cut him loose in redraft leagues.
DeAndre Jordon with a solid game, 15 points and 6 rebounds with a couple of blocks.
Chauncey Billups returned to action after a long injury layoff, 19 minutes, 7 points on 1 of 5 shooting. Check your wire to see if he’s still out there.
Jamal Crawford an off night, 2 for 10, 11 points. Billups’ return could hurt Crawford.
