Fantasy Basketball Daily News and Notes, Happy Thanksgiving!
Nov 25, 2010 Blog
Daily Cash Games – I went 6-2 last night on Fanduel.com with 330 points scored in my salary cap H2H games. Only a couple of games on the NBA schedule tonight and it looks like a day of Fanduel.com NFL Football after some turkey! FantasySportsLive.com will have basketball tonight, so I’ll be getting my Thankgiving NBA fix over there.
FantasyBasketballDaily.com News and Notes:
John Brockman (MIL) – Got the start for an injured Andrew Bogut, but didn’t do much, 6pt/4reb in 13 minutes.
Mo Williams (CLE) – Good night shooting the ball, 11-22 for 25 points.
Thaddeus Young (PHI) – Young got the start filling in for Brand who is serving a one game suspension for his flagrant 2 on JaVale McGee. Marreese Speights also got 21 minutes of run.
Sonny Weems (TOR) – Linas Kleiza may have lost his starting spot to Weems. Kleiza picked up 13 minutes, while Weems started and got 35 minutes.
Raymond Felton (NYK) – Picked up the offense against his old team, 23pt/13ast.
Tyrus Thomas (CHA) – Thomas finally got a start at center in place of Nazr Mohammed and didn’t disappoint, 26pt/11reb/4blk. It sure would be nice to see him get more starts, but this may have been a one time deal based on matchups. Mohammed didn’t play, but I haven’t seen any injury news.
Rip Hamilton (DET) – He’s frustrated, another ejection last night.
O.J. Mayo (MEM) – Could be losing his starting spot to Xavier Henry. Grab Henry off the wire just in case.
Jordan Farmar (NJN) – He’s starting to get solid minutes, 31 minutes Wednesday. Keep an eye on him.
Shaq O’Neal (BOS) – Had a line from the past on Wednesday, 25pt/11reb.
Chris Bosh (MIA) – Bosh left last night’s game with a hip/back problem, but returned quickly and finished the game. It’s probably nothing, but be safe and check his next gametime status.
Dwyane Wade (MIA) – Really slumping, 6 of 21 and the wrist seems to be giving him some problems.
J.J. Redick (ORL) – Got a start in place of Vince Carter, who is dealing with some knee soreness. Redick would be a valuable fantasy asset if Carter ever went down for any length of time, but this is probably just a one or two game absence for Carter.
Tiago Splitter/DeJuan Blair (SAS) – The Spurs are really going to have to do something about their interior. Darko and Love just dominated inside and it almost cost the Spurs a loss to a horrible Timberwolves team.
Darko Milicic (MIN) – 22pt/8reb. How long before you believe? I’m still not sold.
Kevin Love (MIN) – 32pt/22reb. The guy is a monster, if you can catch him on the right night.
Tyson Chandler (DAL) – He’s now firmly in control of the starting center spot for Dallas. 17pt/18reb Wednesday.
Jeff Green (OKC) – Went 43 minutes last night and looks healthy enough to safely put back in your starting lineup.
Dorell Wright (GSW) – Solid game against Houston, 24pt/8reb/2stl.
Kyle Lowery (HOU) – Had one of his better games, 14pt/7reb/10ast. It definitely helps to play the Warriors.
Kyle Korver (CHI) – 47 minutes of action in Chicago’s overtime game. This probably won’t happen again.
Deron Williams (UTA) – Got the better of the matchup with Chris Paul, 26pt/11ast/5stl.
Rajon Rondo (BOS) – Missed his third game with a bad hamstring. Nate Robinson got the start. Rondo may miss Friday’s game too.
Taj Gibson (CHI) – Missed Wednesday with a sore foot. This is something that could linger, so be careful starting Gibson.
Delonte West (BOS) – Suffered a broken wrist and could miss the rest of the season. Bad luck just follows some people.
