Friday’s NBA Schedule, Probable Starting Linups, Lines, Injuries and Tournament Picks
Boston (-3.5) @ Toronto 174 Total
BOS: R. Rondo, R. Allen, P. Pierce, K. Garnett, J. O’Neal
TOR: J. Calderon, L. Barbosa, D. DeRozan, J. Johnson, A. Johnson
- Jerryd Bayless is likely out with an ankle injury. Leandro Barbosa should see big minutes.
- Andrea Bargnani is out until at least the all-star break.
- Avery Bradley missed Thursday’s game and is listed as questionable for Friday. More minutes for Rajon Rondo.
- Daily Fantasy Tournament Value Pick: Paul Pierce
LA Clippers @ Philadelphia (-4) 186.5 Total
LAC: C. Paul, R. Foye, C. Butler, B. Griffin, D. Jordan
PHI: J. Holiday, J. Meeks, A. Iguodala, E. Brand, (T. Battie/N. Vucevic)
- Randy Foye got the start in the first game the Clippers played after losing Chauncey Billups for the season. Foye should keep the role for the rest of the season and makes a great daily play until his salary adjusts.
- Spencer Hawes is out. Tony Battier and Nikola Vucevic will share minutes at center.
- Elton Brand played through his thumb injury and should be ok to plug back into your lineup.
- Erick Bledsoe will return within the next 10 days and makes an interesting pickup after the injury to Chauncey Billups.
- Philadelphia has the top ranked defense in league.
- Daily Fantasy Tournament Sleeper Pick: Randy Foye
Miami (-12.5) @ Washington 199 Total
MIA: M. Chalmers/N. Cole, D. Wade, L. James, C. Bosh, J. Anthony
WAS: J. Wall, N. Young, C. Singleton, T. Booker, J. McGee
- Mario Chalmers was a late scratch Wednesday with a hand injury, but is listed as probable for Friday. Norris Cole would pickup the start if Chalmers can’t go.
- Rashard Lewis missed his last game with knee soreness and is listed as questionable Friday. Chris Singleton picked up the start Wednesday.
- Daily Fantasy Tournament Value Pick: John Wall
Chicago (13.5) @ Charlotte 182.5 Total
CHI: D. Rose, R. Brewer, L. Deng, C. Boozer, J. Noah
CHA: K. Walker, R. Williams, B. Diaw, T. Thomas, B. Biyombo
- Bismack Biyombo got his first start Wednesday againt the Celtics, but didn’t do much with it. Give him one more chance before cutting him back to the wire.
- DJ Augustin could return in the next few days.
- Derrick Rose was limited to 22 minutes Wednesday because of his back and is a gametime decision Friday. His daily salary is just to high to take a risk here, avoid him. CJ Watson should get the start if Rose decides to sit a game out.
- Tyrus Thomas is a gametime decision with an eye infection.
- Corey Maggette went through a full practice and could play Friday. Check your wire to see if anyone dropped him.
- Carlos Boozer could have a solid night against the weak interior of the Bobcats.
- I love the Bulls, but 13.5 points might be too many here.
- Daily Fantasy Tournament Value Pick: Joakim Noah, CJ Watson (if Rose is out)
Atlanta @ Orlando (-5) 182 Total
ATL: J. Teague, J. Johnson, M. Williams, J. Smith, Z. Pachulia
ORL: J. Nelson, J. Richardson, H. Turkoglu, R. Anderson, D. Howard
- Jeff Teague took a hard fall Wednesday night and was seen wearing a wrist brace at practice Thursday. Avoid the risk. Kirk Hinrich would get the start if Teague can’t play.
- Daily Fantasy Tournament Value Pick: Josh Smith

NJN: D. Williams, A. Morrow, S. Williams, K. Humphries, S. Williams
DET: B. Knight, R. Stuckey, T. Prince, G. Monroe, J. Maxiell
- Keith Bogans is out for the season with a broken ankle and torn ligaments.
- MarShon Brooks is listed as a gametime decision, but I’d play it safe and just avoid him tonight.
- Brook Lopez should return right after the all-star break if he doesn’t have any setbacks.
- Will Bynum is questionable.
- Charlie Villanueva is out. Look for Jonas Jerebko to move into the starting lineup soon, he’s playing really well right now.
- Daily Fantasy Tournament Value Picks: Greg Monroe, Anthony Morrow
Milwaukee (-1) @ Cleveland 192 Total
MIL: B. Jennings, S. Livingston, C. Delfino, LRMAM, D. Gooden
CLE: R. Sessions, A. Gee/D. Gibson, O. Casspi, A. Jamison, A. Varejao
- Stephen Jackson looks like a decent play again in daily leagues. His recent slump has really pushed his salary down to an attractive level where there is definitely some upside potential.
- Kyrie Irving missed Wednesday’s game with a concussion and he’ll probably miss the next two games as well. Ramon Sessions got the start Wednesday and will continue to start with Irving out.
- Anthony Parker is out. Alonzo Gee and Daniel Gibson will both see minutes at SG.
- Ersan Ilyasova missed Wednesday’s game with back spasms.
- Anderson Varejao suffered a hard fall on Wednesday and had a back contusion. Check his gametime status just to be safe.
- Daniel Gibson returned to action Wednesday after missing some time with a neck infection.
- Tristan Thompson is probable.

- Steve Blake returned to action Thursday and played 32 minutes.
- Daily Fantasy Tournament Sleeper Pick: Jeremy Lin
Indiana @ Memphis (1.5) 184 Total
IND: D. Collison, P. George, D. Granger, D. West, R. Hibbert
MEM: M. Conley, (T. Allen/OJ Mayo), R. Gay, M. Speights, M. Gasol
- Tony Allen has been cleared to play tonight.
- Daily Fantasy Tournament Value Pick: Mike Conley
Portland (-7) @ New Orleans 180.5 Total
POR: R. Felton, W. Matthews, G. Wallace, L. Aldridge, M. Camby
NOR: G. Vazquez, M. Belinelli, T. Ariza, G. Ayon, E. Okafor
- Raymond Felton returned Wednesday after missing a game with an injury, but he looked a little slow. It might be a good idea to give him a couple of games to get totally healthy.
- Jarrett Jack is out. Greivis Vazquez will get the start at PG with Marco Belinelli starting at SG.
- Jason Smith and Carl Landry remain out. Gustavo Ayon should continue to start. Chris Kaman will also get extra minutes.
- Gerald Wallace continues to put up inconsistent stats as he plays through a finger injury.

DAL: R. Beaubois, V. Carter, S. Marion, D. Nowitzki, B. Haywood

- Darko Milicic is out.
