Tuesday’s NBA Schedule, Starting Lineups, Odds, Injuries, Sit/Start Picks
Orlando @ Indiana (-3) 183 Total
ORL: J. Nelson, J. Richardson, H. Turkoglu, R. Anderson, D. Howard
IND: D. Collison, P. George, D. Granger, D. West, R. Hibbert
- The Roy Hibbert / Dwight Howard matchup should be fun to watch. Hibbert could give Howard some problems. Look for Howard to get hacked in this one too.
- David West is recovering from a stiff neck, but will play and could put up a solid line against Ryan Anderson.
- Hedo Turkoglu returned Monday from a back injury, but put up a fairly weak line. Be cautious using him tonight.
New York (-5.5) @ Charlotte 191 Total
NYK: I. Shumpert, L. Fields, C. Anthony, A. Stoudemire, T. Chandler
CHA: DJ Augustin, K. Walker, G. Henderson, T. Thomas, B. Mullens
- DJ Augustin is dealing with a toe injury and could miss Monday. The Bobcats would likely slide Kemba Walker to PG and Gerald Henderson to SF, with Boris Diaw possibly seeing some big minutes.
Cleveland @ Miami (-13) 204 Total
CLE: K. Irving, A. Parker, O. Casspi, A. Jamison, A. Varejao
MIA: (N. Cole/M. Chalmers), J. Jones, L. James, C. Bosh, J. Anthony
- Dwyane Wade is out again Monday. James Jones should get the start with Shane Battier picking up some extra minutes too.
- Tristan Thompson is a gametime decision with a sore ankle. Antawn Jamison and Anderson Varejao may have to play some extra minutes to cover for Thompson.
- LeBron James and Chris Bosh should pick up the scoring with Wade out.
Toronto @ Phoenix (-5.5) 188 Total
TOR: J. Calderon, D. DeRozan, J. Johnson, E. Davis, A. Johnson
PHO: S. Nash, R. Price, G. Hill, M. Morris, M. Gortat
- Jared Dudley and Channing Frye will once again come off the bench behind Ronnie Price and Markieff Morris. It’s just a terrible fantasy situation, so just avoid them all.
- Andrea Bargnani is a gametime call Monday. Ed Davis will pick up minutes if Bargnani can’t go.
- The Raptors have been hinting at some lineup changes with Bargnani out, so check the lineup closer to tipoff.
- Marcin Gortat could post a huge line against the weak Toronto interior.
- Look for Steve Nash to get involved in the scoring against the weak defense of Jose Calderon.
Memphis @ Portland (5.5) 187 Total
MEM: M. Conley, (T. Allen/OJ Mayo), R. Gay, M. Speights, M. Gasol
POR: R. Felton, W. Matthews, G. Wallace, L. Aldridge, M. Camby
- Gerald Wallace returned yesterday aftern missing a game with a sprained finger. He should be safe to get back in your lineup.
- Rudy Gay and Marc Gasol are carrying the Grizzlies right now and are very attractive daily plays. Gasol’s salary has risen a bit high, but he seems to be earning it every night.
- Marreese Speights’ lines have been all over the place lately. He’s a risky fantasy play against Lamar Aldridge. However, on the other side, Aldridge could put up a great line against Speights.
- Good game from Jamal Crawford last night with 26 points. He could be heating up, but he runs into a tough defensive Tony Allen Monday.
- Marcus Camby left Monday’s game with a groin injury and could miss Monday. Kurt Thomas could get the start, but don’t expect much more than 20 minutes out of him.
