Daily Joust $1000 King James Tournament – $10 Entry, Top 15 Teams Paid
Today’s NBA Schedule, Probable Starting Lineups, Injuries and Sit/Start Picks
Sacramento @ Toronto (-5) 189 Total
SAC: T. Evans, M. Thornton, J. Salmons, JJ Hickson, D. Cousins
TOR: J. Calderon, D. DeRozan, (J. Johnson/R. Butler), A. Bargnani, A. Johnson
- Marcus Thornton missed Tuesday’s game and could be out again tonight. Jimmer Fredette got the start for Thornton, but didn’t do much with it.
- JJ Hickson is a good daily play filling in for the injured Chuck Hayes.
- Tyreke Evans is a little slowed with a sore ankle, but he could still put up a big line against the slower, weak defense of Jose Calderon.
- DeMarcus Cousins has really picked up his game with Chuck Hayes out. Less Hayes means more rebounds for Cousins.
Atlanta @ Indiana
ATL: J. Teague, J. Johnson, V. Radmanovic, J. Smith, A. Horford
IND: D. Collison, P. George, D. Granger, D. West, R. Hibbert
- Vlad Radmanovic will get another start for the injured Marvin Williams.
- Danny Granger missed his last game with food poisoning, but he’s also dealing with a sore ankle. Be safe and avoid him in daily games.
- George Hill is a gametime decision (back).
Philadelphia @ New York (-4) 194.5 Total
PHI: J. Holiday, E. Turner/J. Meeks, A. Iguodala, E. Brand, S. Hawes
NYK: I. Shumpert, L. Fields, C. Anthony, A. Stoudemire, T. Chandler
- Iman Shumpert will start again at PG, keeping Toney Douglas on the bench.
- Evan Turner broke out with a big game last night and will try to keep it going. He’s a great daily cash game play.
- Spencer Hawes is a gametime decision with recurring back spasms. Nikola Vucevic will get the start if Hawes can’t go. Keep an eye on Vucevic, he’s eventually going to be a nice add off the wire in season long leagues.
Dallas @ Boston (-5.5) 183.5 Total
DAL: D. West, (V. Carter/J. Terry), S. Marion, D. Nowitzki, B. Haywood
BOS: R. Rondo, R. Allen, P. Pierce, K. Garnett, J. O’Neal
- Jason Kidd is out Wednesday. Delonte West will move to PG, with Vince Carter starting at SG. Jason Terry will see big minutes backing them both up.
- Marquis Daniels is questionable.
Washington @ Chicago (-13.5) 179.5 Total
WAS: J. Wall, N. Young, R. Lewis, (T. Booker/A. Blatche), J. McGee
CHI: D. Rose, R. Brewer, L. Deng, C. Boozer, J. Noah
- Andray Blatche was removed from teh starting lineup and replaced with Trevor Booker. The timeshare is really hurting Blatche’s fantasy numbers, so avoid him for now.
- Rip Hamilton will probably be out again tonight. Ronnie Brewer will get the start, but he’s a risky daily play.
- Derrick Rose aggravated a toe injury on his left foot, so check his gametime status and you may want to think about finding a safer high priced option in daily cash games.
- Chris Singleton got the start over Rashard Lewis Tuesday, so check it gametime to see ifthe Wizards stick with that lineup.
Oklahoma City (-7) @ New Orleans 187 Total
OKC: R. Westbrook, (J. Harden/T. Sefolosha), K. Durant, S. Ibaka, K. Perkins
NOR: J. Jack, M. Belinelli, AF Aminu, C. Landry, (E. Okafor/C. Kaman)
- Trevor Ariza is likely out Wednesday. Al-Farouq Aminu will get another start.
- The Carl Landry, Emeka Okafor, Chris Kaman trio has been very difficult to navigate for fantasy owners and should probably be avoided in daily games unless you have a great feel for who will pick up the minutes.
- Eric Gordon will be out for another couple of weeks. Marco Belinelli will continue to start at SG.
- James Harden has lost some minutes now that Thabo Sefolosha has returned.
Houston @ San Antonio (-6.5) 198.5 Total
HOU: K. Lowry, K. Martin, (C. Parsons/C. Budinger), L. Scola, S. Dalembert
SAS: T. Parker, K. Leonard, R. Jefferson, T. Duncan, D. Blair
- Kawhi Leonard started the second half and put up 19 points Tuesday. He could be in line for big minutes.
- Kyle Lowry returned to action Tuesday and looks safe to plug back into rosters and to use in daily cash games.
- Kevin Martin played through the flu and should be a go Wednesday.
- Chandler Parsons got another start and finds himself in a timeshare with Chase Budinger, which really kills the value of both players.
- TJ Ford is out, Gary Neal will pick up some extra minutes backing up Tony Parker at PG.
New Jersey @ Denver (12.5) 195.5 Total
NJN: D. Williams, A. Morrow, M. Brooks, K. Humphries, (J. Petro/M. Okur)
DEN: T. Lawson, A. Afflalo, D. Gallinari, A. Harrington, Nene
- Damion James is out. Marshon Brooks could get more time at SF.
- Mehmet Okur is a gametime decision. Johan Petro would get the start if Okur can’t go.
- Nene returned from a foot injury Monday and played 30 minutes. He’s a gametime decision, but should play.
- DeShawn Stevenson is out with a sore knee.
- Ty Lawson has a strained ankle, check his gametime status.
LA Lakers (-2) @ Utah 186 Total
LAL: D. Fisher/S. Blake, K. Bryant, M. Barnes, P. Gasol, A. Bynum
UTA: D. Harris, (CJ Miles/R. Bell), G. Hayward/J. Howard, P. Millsap, A. Jefferson
- Josh Howard is playing well and could move into the starting lineup soon at SG. He’s a good daily value play.
- Troy Murphy is out.
- Jason Kapono is out.
- Josh McRoberts is out. Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum will have to log big minutes Wednesday.
Orlando @ Portland (-3) 190.5 Total
ORL: J. Nelson, J. Richardson, H. Turkoglu, R. Anderson, D. Howard
POR: R. Felton, W. Matthews, G. Wallace, L. Aldridge, M. Camby
- Jameer Nelson has really been slumping and should be avoided in daily cash games.
- Quentin Richardson is out with foot injury.
Miami @ LA Clippers
MIA: M. Chalmers/N. Cole, D. Wade, L. James, C. Bosh, J. Anthony
LAC: C. Paul, C. Billups, C. Butler, B. Griffin, D. Jordan
- Dwyane Wade played 37 minutes last night and looks safe to plug back into your daily roster.
- I’m picking Blake Griffin to have a big game against the weak interior of Chris Bosh and Joel Anthony.
