Luol Deng May Opt for Wrist Surgery, Miss 3-4 Months

Luol Deng may require wrist surgery after the conclusion of the Olympics.  If he decides in favor of the surgery, he could miss 3-4 months.  (ESPN Chicago)

Fantasy Advice:  Terrible news for Deng’s fantasy owners.  If your league allows offseason trading, it might be a good idea to shop Deng around  to see what you can get for him.  Of course you could also outsmart yourself if he decides not to have surgery,  so be careful and make sure you get a good return.

If Deng does have the surgery, Jimmy Butler could be a great pickup in keeper leagues.  Butler is extremely young and raw, but the Bulls could decide to give him a shot.   You also have the veterans Ronnie Brewer and Kyle Korver, either of which could luck into big minutes if Deng misses time.
