Trevor Ariza Traded to the Washinton Wizards

Trevor Ariza has been traded to the Washington Wizards.

Fantasy Advice:  Ariza will step right in to the starting SF spot for the Wizards and should have a decent role in their offense.   The Wizards starting five could consist of John Wall, Bradley Beal, Ariza, Emeka Okafor and Nene.   I’ve seen a lot of criticism of the Wizards for this trade, but I like the trade since it actually puts a decent team on the floor and gives the fans a real chance at a playoff spot.

Ariza’s biggest contributions will be on defense, but he should see an improvement in his offensive numbers in Washington.  His biggest fantasy drawbacks are his career 43.1 FG% and career 67.4 FT%.  He will be a later round fantasy small forward.
