Fantasy Basketball Daily News and Notes (12/12/10)

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Games – The NFL season is winding down but Fanduel.com and FantasySportsLive.com still have one day fantasy football cash games going.  If you are out of contention in your season long fantasy football league and still want a challenge, check out these one day games.  And you can win a little money too!

From the iPod – ‘Call Me’ by Joell Ortiz.  I don’t know why Ortiz hasn’t gotten more love, the guy is an amazing talent.

LeBron James (MIA) – Take a tour of his new Miami home.

Marc Gasol (MEM) – He’s finally starting to wake up and string some good games togther.  Maybe his health was more of an issue than he was letting on early in the season.  If he has a few more good ones, you might want to try and trade low for him.

Eric Bledsoe (LAC) – Bledsoe and Baron Davis are playing a fairly even timeshare right now, unfortunately neither is doing anything at all.

Roy Hibbert (IND) – Another inconsistent performance, 6pt/8reb on 3-14 shooting.   He’s almost impossible to use in daily cash games because of his high salary and irregular performance.

Al Horford (ATL) – Great line, 16pt/16reb/8ast.

Jamal Crawford (ATL) – He’s enjoying Joe Johnson’s absence, 25 points.

Paul Pierce (BOS) – Pierce has been playing terrible lately, 8pt/4reb on 1-9 shooting.

Rajon Rondo (BOS) – Rondon only put up 7pt/8ast Saturday.  You would think Boston would have lost with Rondo and Pierce only scoring a combined 15 points.  Boston won by 31.

Gerald Wallace/D.J. Augustin (CHA) – Combined to shoot 2-23 for 9 points.

Jerryd Bayless (TOR) – Nice bounceback game for Bayless getting the start for Calderon, 31pt/5reb/7ast.

Ben Wallace (DET) – Looks like the one game off did him some good, 23pt/14reb/5stl.

Kevin Love (MIN) – 23pt/15reb in 32 minutes.

Derrick Rose (CHI) – Has anyone noticed that Rose is shooting 41.6% from three point range this season?  5-6 from three Saturday.

Deron Williams (UTA) – 34pt/6ast.  Just a steady performer.

Dirk Nowitzki (DAL) – Great game rebounding the ball, 31pt/15reb.

DeShawn Stevenson (DAL) – Got hot from three, 5-7 Saturday.  He’s still starting, but isn’t really worth a pickup unless he gets three point shots.

Antawn Jamison/Daniel Gibson (CLE) – Both players are making a case to stay in the starting lineup.  Jamison, 24pt/5reb.  Gibson put up 12pt/4reb/3ast/4stl while playing through a stomach virus.

Kevin Martin (HOU) – Martin had been battling illness over the last few games, but it didn’t show last night, 40 points on 12-19 shooting.  That is what efficiency looks like Kobe.

Dwyane Wade (MIA) – Wade is over his early season hamstring and wrist problems, 36pt/6reb/6ast.

Tyreke Evans (SAC) – Probably just needs to shut it down for awhile and get healthy, 5 points on 2-10 shooting.  Sacramento isn’t going anywhere and there is no sense in causing more damage to Evans’ feet.

Jonny Flynn (MIN) – Expected to return Tuesday.  Check your wire if you need another PG, just in case guys in your league forgot about him.

Danny Granger (IND) – Suffered some type of leg injury Saturday.  He played through it, but check his next gametime status just to be safe.
